1. Material type
The choice of materials is the first element that affects the performance of lithium batteries. Using materials with poor cycle performance, even if the process is reasonable and the production is perfect, the cycle performance of the cell cannot be guaranteed. From the material point of view, the cycle performance of a battery is determined by the poorer of the cycle performance of the positive electrode material or the negative electrode material and the electrolyte.
2. Compaction of positive and negative materials
Excessive compaction of positive and negative materials, although it can increase the energy density of the cell, it will reduce the cycle performance of the material to a certain extent. In theory, the greater the compaction, the greater the structural damage to the material, and the worse the cycle performance of the battery; in addition, the compaction will also have a certain impact on the liquid retention capacity of the battery cell, and the liquid retention capacity is the battery cell The basis of normal circulation.
3. Moisture

4. Coating film density

For batteries with the same model, capacity and material, reducing the film density is equivalent to increasing the number of one or more winding or lamination layers, and the correspondingly increased diaphragm can absorb more electrolyte to ensure circulation.

If the negative electrode material excess ratio is too low, the positive electrode material structure may not change after the battery is cycled hundreds of times, but the negative electrode material structure is severely damaged, causing the battery cell capacity to drop prematurely.
6. The amount of electrolyte
There are three main reasons for the insufficient amount of electrolyte to affect the cycle. One is insufficient injection volume; the other is that although the injection volume is sufficient but the aging time is not enough, or the positive and negative materials are insufficiently immersed due to excessive compaction; The third is that the internal electrolyte of the circulating battery is consumed.
7. The objective conditions of the test
External factors during the test, such as charge and discharge rate, cut-off voltage, charge cut-off current, overcharge and overdischarge during the test, temperature, contact resistance between the test point and the cell, etc., may affect the test results of the cycle performance .
